To be honest, I’ve captured my favorite street photos in the ugliest of all place… Sure, it’s a bit more challenging to find the extraordinary in the ordinary… but isn’t that what street photography is all about?
All a photographer needs to do is spend time observing the location, then play with its perspective. No matter how depressing a location may seem at first, after spending some time with the scenery, you’ll start noticing things that others won’t see, things that people would otherwise ignore. The key to finding unique shots in any situation, as well as experimenting with perspective is by laying down, walking around, and just simply looking up.
